Our name expresses our welcome to you, echoing the wish from the musical, Summertime, idealizing that time when the living is easy. The balm of the early Placencia, with its fishing village charm on this idyllic miles-long beach, is what prompted the Belize City owners to make this their own resort and later to share it with the discerning local and international visitor. The four apartments sleep four persons, in two bedrooms, and the guest house sleeps five in three bedrooms. All units have TVs and free internet and many more amenities .

Our 3 bedroom beach house is fully furnished and sleeps up to five people. Hardwood floors throughout the house complement the Caribbean feel of this home. A combination of 1 double bed, 3 single beds, and 1 full-sized Futon make sleeping arrangements comfortable for groups and families. Air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, WiFi, a safe, elegant wicker and cane furniture and carpeted floors complete these apartments. All of these great features add up to equal the perfect vacation rental!

Our spacious Apartments have two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a full kitchen, and large living room. Both bedrooms have their own private pinewood balcony and roomy closets. There is a queen-sized bed in one and two twin beds in the other bedroom making it a perfect choice for friends traveling together or families. Your apartment’s full kitchen gives you the option – “to cook or not to cook?!” Sometimes you just don’t want to go out to eat – here at Easy Living you have the choice to stay in and get creative.

Once a sleepy fishing village, Placencia has emerged as an increasingly popular eco-destination in the Caribbean. For those who enjoy outdoor adventure, the Stann Creek region offers a host of activities: hiking through mountainous rain forests, kayaking, deep sea fishing, diving and exploring Mayan ruins. The peninsula boasts 16 miles of tranquil beaches, with a lagoon to the west and the Caribbean to the east and lots of peace and quiet in the middle. Tour guides and dive centers offer a variety of excursions, with boat rides to the outer cayes an ongoing favorite. Also popular are guided land tours to Mayan Ruins or trekking the jungle trails of Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, where the first Jaguar Reserve in the world was established.

EXPLORE THE PLACENCIA SIDEWALK
The Placencia sidewalk started as a personal walkway for a high maintenance bishop! Okay. Maybe Bishop Dunn was a sweet and humble chap but his feet were far more tender than those of the local barefoot fishermen. So, he requested that a concrete walkway be constructed from his house to the nearby Anglican church and school. Little did he know that this need for comfort would be the beginning of the village’s first economically vital “road” and later a reason for girls to don heels and wedges for the otherwise arduous trek to the club.
